This policy is intended to cover the Anahadh products — Writam, Swaya and Bokta — and this website.

Swaya is local-first. Plans, tasks, check-ins and recovery context are stored on your device rather than on a server.

Swaya can explain why it is showing you something, and offers a separate longer conversation you can open deliberately. Both may involve sending a request to a server so a response can be generated and returned to you.

You can export your data and delete it from inside the app. Deleting is confirmation-gated so it cannot happen by accident.

Cloud backup and sync are not active unless you turn them on. Where a cloud feature is off, no data for that feature is held on a server.

Hiding something in the app does not delete it. Hidden data stays recoverable until you delete it deliberately.

Swaya can use signals such as sleep, energy, stress and recovery as planning context, to estimate what a day can hold. This information is used for planning only.
